VPN: Automatic Upgrade for Cisco VPN Version 4.x to 5.x on macOS
Purpose of the Knowledge Article
Provide information on what to expect during the automatic upgrade for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client VPN 4.x to Cisco Secure Client VPN 5.x on macOS.
Resolution

Connect to the VPN as you normally would

Click Accept

The Cisco VPN client will check for available updates and download them

Once the download is done, the installation will start

Once the update is done, the Cisco VPN client is ready
Note:
- Old icon
to new icon 
- You can verify the Cisco Secure Client version by clicking Cisco Secure Client (in the menu bar) >>> About Cisco Secure Client
- The client will be renamed from Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to Cisco Secure Client
